Sad news day :-(

On the one hand good on Palmer for becoming extremely wealthy at 20 yrs old.

On the other hand they just flipped the bird to all their Kickstarter backers and the community that supported them.

On the other hand they just flipped the bird to all their Kickstarter backers and the community that supported them.


I don't see it that way. I think it's sad, but for reasons that the development will now be led in a very specific direction and limited to those implementations that facebook see's fit rather than it's community. 

Occulus will have to honor it's agreements to it's kickstarters that it's made to date, and likely FB will be generous with those.
