Just moved into a house and it has a micron alarm that has 0 seconds entry delay, but the master code has been lost and I am unable to re-programme it, just wondering if anyone knows how to reset it to factory settings? Calling someone to come to reset it during business hour is $95, it sounds ridiculous.

Depends on model - but this is for the Z6 for example:

LOST MASTER CODE?
Pressing the [1+3] key pair within 6 seconds of power-up will cause the program version number to be displayed (as if you had just entered the master code). From this point, enter the desired programming command (# for installer programming). If no programming command is entered, the control will reset to normal operation in a few seconds.
This sequence will work only from true power-up. Battery and AC power must be removed then restored.
Note: This command is not available in communicator versions of the Z6 panel.

I had to get an alarm technician to come in, and they had to get the panel to dial out to micron so that micron could do a remote reset on mine - all the manual offline options didn't work because some protection code had been set....
