Hey, I'm looking to purchase a 30gb iPod and was wondering where the cheapest place is to get one
- looking on pricespy, the cheapest I've found so far is http://www.einfo.co.nz/shop/index.php at $347 (excluding postage)... Anyone found anywhere cheaper?

Oh, and also, what's the deal with buying parallel imported ipods? - I'm assuming that the ipod itself is exactly the same, but how about the warranty and stuff?

$398 is the cheapest you will get it from a regular retail store at the moment.

As for warranties, then Apple provide one year warranties to everyone who does not parallel import threir stock.

Parallel importers generally provice a 90 day warranty, it will depend on who they are and the product. They will try and sell you an extended warranty I am sure.

I don't think it matters where you get your iPod from? Because you can buy it overseas and claim it from wherever you live...
