When I remove the battery from my mp3 player and connect it via usb cable to my computer it still works.  

Does a USB power adaptor that plugs into the cigarette lighter in a car supply enough power to make an mp3 player work?

It should, I have just recentley bought one off trademe and it works well.

My Zune(mp4 player) still charges as good as it does on the computer, if not better






Not an Ipod killer, but give it a chance...
