Rasp 3 now on sale in the uk.

I've ordered two from modmypi.com for 57 pounds including postage.

Ordered mine from RS about half an hour ago, and received an order confirmation email for $68.30. Then a few minutes ago I got a second confirmation with no items listed, for $0.00, and when I look up my order it fails. Anyone else?

hmmmm the power supply could be an issue, needing 2.5amps.... most usb chargers are 2.1amps.  says you need a special power supply just for it.... thats really annoying (I have usb sockets built into a few double plugs around my house that I plug my pis into generally)

Similar story, got the confirmation when I order of the Pi3, case and PSU. Just got an email now saying the case and PSU have shipped and the Pi3 gone from the order. Will have to ask them whats up with that.

Buy from the uk.

When I ordered my two there was a option to check stock status and it listed more than 2000 in stock.

RS Online (NZ) says they have plenty in stock (they come from the UK store) yet still removing the Pi from my order and others I know. Have to wait until the morning to contact NZ Support apparently.

Also just ordered one from element14 ($54 plus GST) because I had some other stuff in the basket that they only stock.

It's AU stock but it generally overnights into NZ. Things take another day for me because of my rural delivery but still pretty quick.

I decided, rather than buy from a "nz" distributor and wait for it to be shipped from the uk, instead bought from a uk based source and waiting a bit longer for shipping.
