My Creative Zen PMC that I got from 4 years+ ago has decided to bloat up. And at the right timing before my travelling on Monday.

Creative has since discontinued Zen PMC, and somehow I have a very bad feeling that I will have difficulty to find a spare battery. The battery is designated as PMA-BA0001.

I have searched for the battery model and found one contact in NZ that have it listed. However no indication if there's any in stock or how much it is even, anyhow, I hope to hear back from them on Monday.

But if anyone know where else to find this battery, do please give a help, cheers.

I don't think it's a very popular device - despite I have had great joy using it! Can't find any thing remotely close to Creative's Zen PMC.

Went to two DSE branches today and saw the Creative Zen PMC is for sale (for clearance, like many years already) for $500... I ended up getting Apple Ipod Touch - yeah yeah, I have made one or two blog posts about Ipod in the past. Reason why I went for Apple Ipod Touch 32GB is because, there are no other DAP/DMP which has good capacity and large screen, something that I enjoyed a lot out of my current suspended Creative Zen PMC.

I will still hope to find the battery for my Creative Zen PMC - fingers crossed.

Why dont you email Digirama? They stock Creative gear (I bought mine from them) and theyre always really helpful.

Flash Cards sell batteries for PDA's and cameras so Im sure they could source one for you. I got a replacement battery for an old Telecom harrier from them and it was good quality.

If you dont care about buying on the internet there are loads of places online.
