For my home lab/rack, I'd really like to have "Smart PDU" functionality, e.g. the ability to switch a decently large number of individual sockets (preferably C13/14 but AU/NZ plugs would do) on/off. The problem is Smart PDU's range from ouch (e.g. Dynamix) to vital organ (e.g. APC).

Anyone have any suggestions has seen stuff in your home automation travels that might be a reasonably priced alternative?

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

We've got a few of the Dynamix ones that we ordered too many of that I may be willing to sell for somewhat cheaper than usual....
