I recently picked up a cheap wifi switch from Amazon (MHCOZY WiFi Wireless Smart Switch Relay Module), and have a query regarding wiring. The YouTube videos I've watched on installation, all have a different set up with regards to wiring. With our Dominator door, the connectors look like this:

Can anyone please confirm, that I need to add a wire under the Common and Relay screws? All the YT videos I've seen have a different setup with this step, due to the various models of garage openers.

Thanks in advance for any tips. 🙂

Common and relay should work fine, but it needs to pulse not latch

The relay just closes a circuit. You can do this yourself by a *carefully* touching the two terminals with a bit of wire. If that controls the door you've got the right ones.

As stated, just link the top two terminals together through the contacts of a relay for a couple of seconds and then open the contacts.

The two wires shown probably go to the manual switch in the garage.

Thanks for all the advice. Worked a treat. I no longer need to open my shed door manually, like a chump! 😂
