I have eufy camera at home, wodner anyone try use separate motion sensor to somehow extend the motion detection coverage.

want to place the motion just off the edge of the viewable window, and use HA to kick off the recording whenever the sersor is triggered.

hoping someone have the similiar experience could point me to which sensor would work, as Eufy dont currently have one.

thanks,

Sam

Sorry I have this system but cannot help, just a comment, that I would have thought it to be much easier to just add another camera covering the additional area.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
