I was crossing my fingers that my Daikin heat pump installed today would report its power usage and make it available to Home Assistant.

But it does not…. I get the inside and outside temps and also all the ac controls…

has anyone got this working to report power usage?

I have two of the Daikin Cora heatpumps with the BRP072C42 WiFi module recently updated to 1.16.

Currently running HA 2022.6.4

I can see the total consumption since midnight via following -

entities:
  - sensor.master_bedroom_today_s_total_energy_consumption
  - sensor.lounge_today_s_total_energy_consumption

Can also see values about current usage on -

sensor.master_bedroom_total_power_consumption

sensor.lounge_total_power_consumption

Cheers

Mark

As far as I’ve been told I have the BRP15B61 Airbase module. It updated to the latest version when I connected it to wifi.

I have 2. My Ducted system with Airbase does not report power consumption. However, my Daikin Cora shares an outdoor unit, so reports power consumption for the entire system.

So, effectively confirming your findings. My Daikin Airbase BRP15A61 does not report power consumption.

Yeah i found the documentation for an addon for OpenHAB which confirms that my controller does not report power usage or humidity.

Annoying..... I did order a din mounter power meter so will have to get a sparky to install that for me :-)
