Does anyone know where to get a video out cable for an iPod that costs less than the $90 Apple charges? That's not terrible value though, given it has a charger, but I already have a charger.

I also wonder if it's just for video, or can you do things like play games on the iTouch when it's hooked up to a big screen? Though given it's all touch sensitive I don't think games would really be all that effective anyway.

It is just for video for iPod Touch. I have the Composite AV with charger.

There's some el-cheapo deals going on TradeMe at the moment which I'm grabbing to try. I've also got one of the $90 Apple ones so want to know if there's any difference between that and the uber-cheap ones, and if they'll work with iPhone OS3.X

I mostly wanted to have my games bigger, since it doesn't do that I don't think i'll bother. Thanks for the information though! :)

You can out put the games but it is reportably laggy. You need to jail break and the apps are called "screensplitter" and "TVOut" and are in cydia.
