Hi everyone, I'm considering purchasing a Logitech Pure-fi Elite from the US for my wife. The exchange rate is good, and it isn't currently available here in NZ (if someone can tell me otherwise, let me know please!).
Anyhow, my wife wants one, I can get them from the US for a pretty good price- about $290NZ?

Anyhow, I have a few questions that I'd really appreciate being answered:
1) Was it ever sold here?
2) Is the Pure-fi Dream its successor? I'm figuring not as they appear to have been released around the same time, but figured I should ask.
3) If I get it from the US, will it work? Apparently it will accept between 110-220V, so if I use an adaptor it should work. This has been confirmed by vendors on Amazon and eBay as well as the Logitech helpline, although these guys I feel are pretty useless, so finding out peoples experiences here would be good... worst case would I have to change the AC box + cable?

If anyone has any thoughts on this it would be appreciated, especially if they have experience with the Pure-fi Dream and Elite models- thanks!

Yes it should work, just need a plug adapter. Or replace the cord if thats easier/cheaper.

The dream looks to have been released almost a year after the elite.

You can get the Dream here in NZ for $80 more at computer lounge

Just checked this- thanks for the response and info, it's appreciated!

I can get the Dream for about $330-340, it's a bit more than from the US, but the magic word 'warranty' springs to mind. :) Thanks!

If you're still looking the Elite was available through dick smith, originally priced at around $400 you can probably pick one up for alot less now that it's likely a clearence line. I checked the company website and it's no longer listed but that doesn't mean there aren't still available in stores.
