My mother wants me to get her a SanDisk Sansa Clip 1Gb MP3 Player for audiobooks. Apart from not being able to track one down it occurs to me that there may be something better around. Those are 2 years old now.

What she is after is something small, simple, and with a built-in clip. It has to be an MP3 player only - no radio - so she can use it in hospital while she is undergoing chemotherapy. Ideally, I'd like to give her what she has asked for but I'm not having any luck finding one. She doesn't like the controls of the iPod unfortunately.

Any suggestions?

good question. Sandisk seem to be much more popular in the States, I got a Fuze when I was over there earlier this year.
