Anyone else got an AR.Drone? I've got one here today for a week to check it out...

I have one of these, and for the price they are amazing.

Mines been into the office several times and we've flattened the battery many times giving demo flights on it, the building has a ton of floorspace. flying in and out of meeting rooms using the camera only is fun as hell.

It pumps out a pretty respectable down force and when that hits the walls it causes the drone to rock a little but the indoor hull just bounces off things.

Works fine off my Ipod touch and though there's apps on the Droid Market my milestone wont do infrastructure wifi so unless i change the drones config it cant be droided just yet.

Grab the AR games if you can, prop the target stickers up somewhere and get blasting :)

I found the Ipad a little tricky as the bulk of my flying was the ipod touch, hooked a buddies one up and took it for a spin.

Have a look at some of the mods being done, with lights and so on.
