Hi, this is my first post in this forum but I've been observing a few topics related to the Kindle Touch for a while. I'm thinking of importing one from the US, but I've got a couple of reservations before making any plans.

Can anyone who has a Kindle Touch 3G model from the US (specifically Touch, not any other models) please confirm that the 3G service does in fact work here in NZ for downloading books with their device? And I know it's a hassle, but if anyone has the approximate dimensions and weight of the packaging so I can figure out shipping costs, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help!
