Hi, Guys.

The announcement date for Apple showcase will be the 9th of September.
The 12th of September will be the pre-order date and the 19th being the date of release (and presumably when the phones will be sent out).

Do you guys have any experience on whether the phone actually does get delivered fast when you utilize Spark?
The reason i ask is because I have a trip on the 26th, i am hoping i have a Snazzy new phone before I relax.

Thanks.

Depends on if you are within the first few being allocated or the second batch.. or even third batch.

Probably cutting it a bit fine...

Probably the best idea and your best shot to get your phone early. Best of luck.

Sometimes pre-orders open a week after the iPhone announcement.

Per every year since at least iPhone 4. If you want a new iPhone on release day your best bet is direct with Apple.

Look forward to the yearly "I pre-ordered through <insert telco> but I haven't heard anything yet?!" threads

You're almost 100% guaranteed launch day delivery these days if you order within 1–2 minutes of their pre-orders opening.

Source: Have done this almost every year for the past 5–10 years, with every major telco, and have never not received it on day one.

It's not for the faint hearted though because usually you don't receive any notifications/emails/updates until 2–3pm on the Thursday when you get a courier tracking email.

I do like the assumptions about what phones will be released and when orders will be able to be made. Definitely time to get the popcorn ready...

Just curious, when does pre-order usually open? is it on a saturday for New Zealanders?

Because I hate myself I’ll probably partake in the Spark pre-order.

It’s hard to stomach iPhone prices these days, I imagine this year they may cost more with the current economic climate.

My iPhone 13 Pro Max charge port is borked from all the times I’ve got out my wife’s car with the cable still attached to the phone (cos no wireless CarPlay)
