What time would you suggest for queuing at Christchurch ^^.
Looks like demand is low or maybe just no one is there yet.

I'd say most people are just ordering online or haven't turned up yet. It would be disappointing for the carriers if only this amount turned up considering all the free stuff being put out and the live entertainment, etc.

I'll be turning up at the Welly store a bit later :-)

Did you cancel your Apple order?

I know some people that would have lined up but didn't because they thought they would miss out - maybe a lot of people have the same feeling?

Thanks. I'm got going to hold my breath as I've been stung with disappointment from standing in line for an iPhone before which is why I'm keeping my order with Apple. Just hope I don't end up with more than i need lol

It would be a shame if the fiasco from previous years meant people didn't turn up this year after the effort that has been gone to. Which is part of the reason I'll make a trip down to the store a bit later to lend my support :-)

I would have lined up but the fact that no one could confirm dates/times, ability to pre-order, and stock levels meant that I didn't really have a choice.

Only problem is that I don't think I can cancel my order with Telecom right now (as its after hours I would imagine) and the money doesn't get refunded straight away and I wouldn't have enough money to buy one in the meantime. I think I can wait, maybe ;)

I have now pulled the trigger and have a white 16gb i4s on order ex-Telecom for the wife = +10 brownie points for me :P

Here's hoping delivery is not too bad as nagging wifey until it arrives could get painful
