Its almost here. IMO its the best by far reason to upgrade your iPhone, but you don't have to, its free

Here is a lay summary of what Apple is doing with iOS7, the direction, not the actual featureset. Interesting read

josephhinvest: Well have only had a few minutes to use my iPad so far. Initial impressions are great, I like it a lot.
I glossed over the instruction on how to invoke spotlight and now can't work it out!
Also, on iPad, the way folders are implimented is shockingly terrible. I can't believe they made that decision!
(9 times on screen, have to scroll to next 9 etc) what a cock up! Hopefully will be fixed quickly.

Cheers,
Joseph

Hi Joseph can you clarify what you mean re the folders?(9 times on screen, have to scroll to next 9 etc)

When you open a folder, it displays a 3x3 grid of icons, with multiple pages. So if you want the app that was previously at the bottom of your 20 icon folder in iOS 6, you now have to swipe twice to get to the same app. It's a PITA. All the iPad screen real estate is wasted.

20 to 9, OMG.

Tks
