I use Outlook for emails on my laptop and all emails also download onto my ipad.  But every now and again my ipad randomly tells me it is  "downloading" new emails - sometimes in the hundreds and even over 1,000, even though nothing new actually appears in my inbox.  When I attempt to delete all the emails on my ipad, it simply downloads them all again - again, in the hundreds.  I have tried marking them all as "read" on my ipad and deleting them, but nothing seems to work.  Any suggestions, please, for how to cure this problem?
