We have our Grand Daughter staying with us from Australia, she wants to buy some stuff on the iTunes store. It tells us to change to the NZ store front which is logical. When we go to do this it says we cannot as she has an available credit on the Australian store. This credit amounts to $0.02, nothing is that cheap in the Apple world but it tells her she must spend it before she can transfer. Now the real catch 22 we cannot spend it as it says we must be in the NZ store front to do this ??????????? help?

Can any one see a way out of this catch 22

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Log out from the Australian account (just in the Itunes store, she can remain logged into icloud and other stuff with her australian account) and create a new account in the NZ store for her NZ purchases,

You can quite happily have apps and content from 2 accounts on one device, and it means when she gets home she just logs back into her Australian account and continues as normal, rather than having to deplete her account to zero to change it back to Australia...
