Looking to buy a iPhone to test out for a few months and settled on the XS Max. However I notice that quite a few state that the front camera is working but Face ID not working. e.g. iPhone XS MAX | Trade Me Marketplace It seems to be a things with Mobile City listings, but not unique to them.
Is this because the screen or something has be replaced by a unauthorised service centre, or are they just covering their butt?
