I'm about to buy a Lifeproof case for my iPhone 4S and I'm wondering if it's designed to be left on all the time, or just in high risk environments?

I like the idea of full time protection, but I don't know how that balances against the extra bulk and any hassles around using ports, touch screen, etc.

Check out Otterbox Armor series. My partner has one for iPhone 5 and it works superb!

I use mine for running with the armband. All ports are accessible with the case on and the touch-screen also works flawlessly.

The slight extra bulk is the only downside and I got used to it and just leave it on.

I use mine all the time. It feels huge at first but you get used to it.

I took it off the other day to clean the screen and the iPhone felt strangely small, almost too small without it.

Wouldn't trade my lifeproof case for anything though, they are absolutely fantastic.

Thanks everyone. Noel Leeming currently have discounts on iPhone cases, so I managed to get one for $67 which seems like a pretty good deal. I'm just about to have a play with it, so I'll see how I feel about it.

Geekiegeek - mine doesn't appear to have a loop to attach an armband. Is there a special armband accessory designed for the Lifeproof case? Or do you just use some sort of generic solution?
