Up until the weekend, I had the remote app working fine with my iTunes - note - It was the OLD remote setup where the app gave you a 4-digit code and you typed it into iTunes (Older versions of iTunes).

My wifes phone was not connected, so I followed the instructions (pretty simple) to turn on Home Sharing (which is what you have to do now). The iTunes library would not show up on her iPhone. I deleted all existing remotes from iTunes (silly mistake, because now none of them work) and tried again - nothing. I tried mine - nothing. I just cannot seem to get home sharing to work.

The PC is connected via Ethernet cable to a TP Link W8960N ADSL Modem/router. The iPhones/iPads are all wifi obviously. The iPhones can see and control the AppleTV, but not the iTunes Library.
All firewalls are off (both Windows and in the Router). All IP addresses on the network are handled by DHCP (the desktop has a reserved address in DHCP, but I tis not set as static on the PC).

I am stuck. I could try another router I suppose, but thought I would check here and see if anyone has any bright ideas first.

Make sure home sharing is switched on in itunes . (file / home sharing /turn on home sharing).

And, itunes needs to be signed into the same apple account as your devices.

Have you rebooted the itunes pc server, and restarted itunes?

If still not working, reinstall itunes. that fixes stuff sometimes.

Works just fine fo me.

I've never been able to get wifi sync working though, but homesharing works just fine .

Yeah, I have rebooted. Will try an iTunes reinstall.

iTunes sees my devices fine, and WiFi sync seems to go, just not Home Sharing (and yes, I have got all devices set to same AppleID for Home Sharing).
