I've heard it's not ready for the prime time yet, still glitchy? Thoughts?

I haven't actually tried it myself; just "bought" it so that it's on my account. I'll give it a go at some point...

As far as I know, it can only be done through iTunes (or of course on the phone itself).

I've been using it since iOS 8 went public.  It works really well.  There's the very odd occasion where it will go completely non-responsive but just swipe the affected app closed (usually iMessage) and reopen it and it works fine again.

I purchased it when iOS first came out but just couldn't deal with flicking between the different keyboards; in such a habit of swapping across to the numbers etc.
Maybe will give it another go if I got a bigger screen device rather than the 5S

I just removed all the other keyboards, no flicking required.

I've installed it and it works far better than swift key. Really impressed with it

Yeah, that's a benefit in my view.

Man, third party keyboards on iOS are super janky. Swype less so than SwiftKey, but I'm glad I didn't have to pay for either of them - thanks for the heads up on Swype being free.

Can only get better from here, mind you - the stock keyboard is so vastly improved in iOS 8 that I'm not missing Android's options as much as I thought I would.

I disabled Swype the other day just to see how my workflow has changed and OH BOY typing normally on the keyboard is a pain in the butt!  Swype all the way!
