So today my cousin wanted some free sonic game that was only on the japan or canada itunes store, so I did the usual trick of buying a cad$10 voucher code and using that to make a new account, and it all worked but now they have a third itunes account with some credit on it that will probably never be used.

Is there a way to get that credit onto a different itunes account easily? Or will it be best to just wait till there is something that works out cheaper on the canada store which I understand never happens?

You can change the account region that will migrate all the apps from one to another. Not sure how many times you are allowed to do that

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

It is possible to access these free apps from other stores without having to give any credit card details or make a payment into the account. Details on this can be easily found on Google I can't remember the steps to follow but it is just a matter of making the right choice as you sign up for the new store although it does have to be with a new email that isn't already being used for an account.

Don't do this.  When you change your iTunes store region, any content you have purchased disappears from your "Purchased" list (preventing you redownloading it or updating it).

I don't think you can change region with outstanding credit.  You have to have a balance of $0.00
