Do I register my new atv unit ?

I took advantage of the free 12 month subscription to atv+ buy purchasing a new atv 4k unit.

However I am led to believe I need to “register” my new device.

It’s hooked up, it’s working, it’s connected using my Apple ID but can I find anywhere to “register” my device ? Nope.... not a link or a clue anywhere.....

Anyone ?
