I went to form a company on the Companies Office website today and noticed that they now offer services for mobiles.
I had a look at the url via my iPhone and it is looking pretty smart http://m.companies.govt.nz, I got a friend to look at it on his PDA and it appears as though they have optimised it for iPhones.

Great to see a government agency taking the lead.

Yup, works fine - and it's great to finally be able to search for a company without installing java!

Works pretty well.  They also have an SMS search that allows you to see whether a car has money owing on it - so you don't buy someone elses debt.  www.ppsr.govt.nz/TXTB4UBUY pretty useful - not overly pretty yet however.
