Ok

So ive tried to jail break my 2.2 1st gen ipod touch
But theres something wrong with my computer ? it wont even load the software
So i open up quickpwn have redownload it heaps then it pops up

"the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000123). Click on OK to terminate the application

Anyhelp cheers?

You need to install .Net framework before running QuickPwn. You can download it free. Quite a lot of freeware, shareware and whatnot require it.
Edit: you need 2.0 or newer. http://tinyurl.com/299puj
What .Net is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Framework
