I have a jailbroke iPhone with 2.2 firmware on it and I have Assassin's Creed that is designed for 2.2.1 firmware on my computer (from Appulous). I know that it will still work on 2.2 but iTunes won't let sync it onto my phone because "I need newer firmware" . Is there another way to put it on?

The Cydia App FWchanger, I heard, is quite dodgy and can screw up your phone.

Upgrade to 2.2.1 via itunes and then jailbreak again.. pretty simple..

Yeah. But that involves re installing all the jailbroken apps.
