I figured 12:01 am Californian time for the release or 7pm NZ Time - still no joy for the download :(

Edit -

From the NZ Apple site - http://www.apple.com/nz/iphone/softwareupdate/

"Download the 3.0 Software Update.

Available June 18."

I believe that its only been updated to 18th June in Australia, New Zealand, and a number of East Asian countries and remains 17th June in US etc.

18th June should be local time for NZ. (according to macrumors)

Actually it's the 18th for us in New Zealand which will then be the 17th in the US.

Quite right, I was going on a Gizmodo post (now removed). Apologies. Sounds like the build number is the same as the GM whch I already have. I'm assuming no need to update when it does become available?

Sure is. Even better is post install having iTunes continually fail to re-activate my phone. I just keep getting a lovely "We could not compelte your iTunes Store request. The network connection timed out."

I guess I have a brick for the morning until the load settles. What a pain.

I can't brain today. I have the dumb.
