I had been trying to download the PayPal iPhone app but not available from the NZ iTMS App Store

https://www.paypal-labs.com/iphone/

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=283646709

Where it gets amusing are the following responses I am getting from the PayPal support team

This is because not all services are available in other countries. The infrastructure and systems need to be in place and is available in the country for it to be available.

Then I had responded that there  is no infrastructure required for me  to  use  the PayPal  iPhone  Application.
It  is  purely  that  NZ  was  not  selected  when  it  was  submitted  to  Apple.  Hopefully  this  can  be amended  and  resubmitted

and the response

I understand that you are having some issues with your iPhone. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
I would advise you to contact Apple regarding about the application of your iPhone. This feature is not a PayPal feature; it is a feature from Apple.

Then requested that they ask their PayPal  iPhone  Development  team what countries  can  the  PayPal iPhone  application  be  purchased.

I apologized but we do not have iPhone development team, it would be best if you can contact iPhone company to ask assistance on navigating iPhone features.
We are committed to making your PayPal experiences pleasant and fulfilling.

That's because you've done a copy and paste from another app - all formatting is copied across. Nothing to do with the editor really. Copy to a text only applicaton in between to "lose" the formatting.

Yes, copied from email... and hence had some formatting.. then each time the editor was used it gets worse and worse.... will try again with clean text..
and it keeps inserting many extra carriage returns.  I guess that is better than before when it kept deleting them Undecided

I've noticed that the editor adds extra <br /> tags when you go back and edit, even if it's plain text that I've typed myself and haven't copied from anywhere. That's in Safari 3.2.3, and possibly in Firefox 3.

Yes, noticed that. The new TinyMCE doesn't repect the tags we had before, so now I have to test it in our test server to change the tags. Annoying products - people making these things never think of backwards compatibility and never thnk of not breaking legacy applications. It annoys me to no end.

Mauritio, for some strange behaviour... that text looked a little like this on Safari 4... it got in a real mess and started messing up tags, and the html code became part of content

Then there must have been over 140 closing span tags at the end,

The sheer amount of html garbage it created was amazing... and I have never seen such a mess since first saw Microsoft Front Page 9-10 years ago
eg this was at the end of a paragraph

<div style="color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; background-image: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; background-color: #ffffff; margin: 8px;"><span style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; "><span style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 11px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; "><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 12px; "><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 12px; "><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 12px; "><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 12px; "><span style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; border-collapse: collapse; white-space: pre; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 2px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 2px; "><span style="border-collapse: collapse; font-size: 11px; white-space: pre; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 2px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 2px;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 12px; "><span style="border-collapse: collapse; font-size: 11px; white-space: pre; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 2px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 2px;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 12px; "><span style="border-collapse: collapse; font-size: 11px; white-space: pre; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 2px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 2px;"><span style="font-size: 12px; ">

Hmm, -webkit CSS tags... looks like Safari created that mess itself. I have Safari 4 on my laptop but haven't seen it do that (although I may not have posted on GZ with it).

Mind you TinyMCE doesn't do the HTML - it passes this on to the browser. Safari is known for being a kind of crappy browser for this. I could disable TinyMCE from the server side and prevent showing it on Safari, but some people asked for it...

yep looked all too suspicious to me on the webkit tag.
Tried using FireFox but it would freeze and was unusable... that normally does not happen.
