Has anyone applied to a jailbroke/unlocked 2g yet? Just had a look at the dev team blog and it looks like it doesn't touch the baseband but still requires some unlocking....

anyone?

Cheers.

If you have a copy of 3.0.0 OS then browse to that when doing the unlock, it needs a couple of files from it thats all (it doesnt down grade you at all). Same jailbreak as before otherwise.

Ed: thats for the 3G or 3GS - never had a 2G to jailbreak but i prpesume its the same?

The only difference should have been the sms hack fixed, Unsure how that would have broken the apps at all. Had a google and couldn't find anything similar, what apps broke?

velofile looks like your being hung in your profile pic??

So 3.0.1 was only the sms exploit... doesnt fix the number prefix issue?
