Something for the odd but obvious news basket.  In countries where it routinely stays under 0 degress during the winter it can get pretty incomfortable trying to use a modern touch screen device such as an iPhone that requires an actual ungloved finger to operate it.  So those crafty Koreans have started to use pork sausages instead.  By all reports they work well.  I kid you not.
