I can;t believe I'm about to say this again but:

My pretty much brand new iphone 3Gs is already developing hair-line cracks.

I would have thoguht they would have cured this problem when the 3G had it.

Anyone else having the same problem with their 3GS (not 3G)?

FYI: MobilefoneRepair apparantly no longer  service the iPhone. It now goes through BrightPoint New Zealand. You must take it back to the company you bought the iphone from before you can have it serviced or anything.

have a brand new 3GS 16GB - but no cracks yet.. will keep an eye on it though.

It shipped with 3.1.3 so it is indeed a very new version :)

Oh wow, that is new. The last two iPhone 3Gs's I have had only had 3.1.2 (yup, it's already been replaced once due to a faulty sensor)

but yes, keep an eye on it. It's less noticeable on the black models though.. I should have learnt my lesson from last time.
