My friend has an iphone 3months old,he bought it brand new.its has a problem and wants to send it to Apple to get it repair but he lost the receipt. My question is can he send it to Apple without the proof of purchase? He still have the Box which has the serial number. Thanks
If he bought it brand new, the store he purchased it from will be able to print him off a new receipt as they are required to keep records for seven years. Tell him to pop into the store and ask if they could kindly print off a new one.
Checked the serial on the box and the one at the sim holder and it appear that the phone still under warranty until 13/04/2011 Registered Not Registered Your registration lets Apple quickly find your product and provide the help you need.

I've posted this information previously in another topic...
Now that we know the unit is still under warranty:
If purchased from Apple.com online store, you can contact MobileFoneRepair on 0508 REPAIR. They will send prepaid courier bags to ship the unit.
If purchased from Vodafone, First Mobile or MagnumMac, Brightpoint are the service agent based in Auckland. First they need to fax or email the form to Brightpoint for a service request number and then ship the unit with completed form.
