Hi guys,

iSkySoft.com has offered 60 FREE copies of their iPad movie converter software (30 for Mac users & 30 for Windows users).  RRP US$25.00.

Being a loyal Geekzone member, I would like to let you guys know of this first!

It's simple, all you need to do is follow the 3 easy steps listed here:
http://www.bargainlover.co.nz/bargain.aspx?id=519

I haven't used the software myself as I don't know an iPad but hey, it's a giveaway, you can't lose!  Money mouth

Thanks for the info, I will enter and try my luck.

A good alternative is Handbrake, and this Lifehacker article (link below, Safari on iPad doesn't show creating link options etc) has links to excellent iPad video presets.
I've used these with much success to convert 720p .mkv files and regular SD .avi files for playback on my iPad.

Cheers,
Joseph

You will need to make sure you send out an e-mail to receive your free key code. Please tell us how it rates against other applications out there:)

I got my free key last night thanks, but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

I did use Any Video Converter free to convert a movie for my iPad, but had lip sync issues.  Is iPad Movie Converter any better at this?

No lip sync issues with mine.  As I don't have an iPad, I am playing the movie on my PC without issues.  Give it a try, hope it works out for you.
