I have just bought a Panasonic audio system which is certified as "made for iPod", but not "works with iPhone". As a result I get this annoying nag screen whenever I drop my iPhone onto the audio system dock, but in reality this supposed lack of compatibility causes absolutely no problems with functionality or radio interference.

Does anyone know of any way to disable this nag screen? In my particular case it's annoying and serves no real value.

Note that my device is not jailbroken, nor do a I want it jailbroken.

Thanks.

I get the same thing with a cheap $10 dock with lineout i got from Noel Leeming.

it has to do with the cell network side of things. i get the odd bit of interference from 3g with it plugged in.

i remember reading complaints about how crap the iphone was that it caused interference with speakers when a sms was received. i just laughed at it cause that happened for years on Vodafone.

GSM was notorious for causing radio interference, but 3G seems to be substantially better. I often get a bit of GSM interference on my car radio when my iPhone rolls over to 2G, but here at home I get a good consistent 3G signal and this Panasonic audio micro system appears to be shielded well enough to resist what little interference the 3G radio generates, so in my case the nag screen is really pretty meaningless.
