Hi,

Yes, I already tried type "*5005*86*777#" and got nothing.

It seems iPhone4 has different way to change VM button number.

I just hate paying 0.18c everytime my clumsy finger pushed the button which I already deactivated years ago but still charged when called.

Any help?

Cheers

Shin

It's not the iPhone, it's iOS. Since iOS 4 (maybe 4.1) the ability to set that button has been disabled, as has the ability to create custom carrier bundle files to change other carrier specific settings. It may or may not be back in future, but don't count on it. If you want to set up another VM button best option is to create a new Contact and add it to your favourite list.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Hi, is there anyway to disable the VM button at all?

Nothing official to my knowledge, perhaps there is a jailbreak option. You could just try being more careful - I use my phone daily and have never accidentally bumped the voicemail button...?
