Hi,

I am travelling to the USA for a month and dont want to pay Vodafone's crazy roaming costs for data. Doe any one know of a USA carrier that has micro sim's on pay as you go with data?

Thanks heaps,

Matt

AT&T will give you a GoPhone microsim, and warn you that data of any kind isn't supported on iPhone. Once you have the SIM, you can log into http://www.unlockit.co.nz from a WiFi connection, and download the carrier settings for AT&T. You can then subscribe to a data plan.

I hear tMobile may now have pay as you go data plans more substantial than those offered by AT&T, but this is new and I've not yet tried it. previously tMobile had no pay as you go data at all. tMobile also uses peculiar 3G frequencies in some markets.
