Ever since I got my Galaxy S, I keep an eye on Phandroid to see what's happening in Androidworld. Plus Crave and Engadget.

Having just bought my first Apple product, iPad 2, I'm keen to keep an eye on what's up with apps etc. However there's thousands of them and some of them seem to be run by kids (not that there's anything wrong with that but you know what I mean).

Would be grateful for suggestions on a few decent blogs that I can follow to keep up with Appleworld, to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I have found Appshopper.com is a really good site, you can add apps that you like the look of to a watchlist and it will tell you when they go on sale. really useful when someone like EA has a 90% off weekend or similar. the amount of US$10 apps I have bought for .99c is astounding, I havent paid full price for an app in a long time..

Edit: Also, Cult of Mac have pretty good App reviews, if that is more the thing you are after
