Dress up with Angelina ballerina is great, an iPhone app but our daughters love it and it's free I think from memory

Are all favourites with my three kids, ages 3, 5, 7.
Can't remember which are free and which are paid.

Strongly recommend AppShopper app. Find apps you want, add them to your wish list, get push notification when price drops. Works well!

Cheers,

Indeed, need to be a little cautious about the time that authentication lasts, from memory is 15 minutes, this may have been made shorter in recent OS updates. Kids could potentially make in-app purchases in a free app in the few minutes after downloading the free app.
If in doubt, go Settings > General > Restrictions and disable in-app purchases. You can also disable specific apps there to prevents kids from accessing Safari or deleting apps etc.

Cheers,
Joseph

BTW i already disabled in app purchase option but Apps still popped up purchase screens when playing games!

Not a big app store user, but don't they have a 'report a problem' procedure within itunes? You could report that you are being nagged for in-app purchases even though they are turned off.
