Hi all

Interested to see the general impressions of those who already have one, and those that will soon get one delivered.

Battery Life    Notice a difference?
Audio            I've seen a column at modmyi.com that shows audio issues
Siri               Fun?  Useful?
Anything else!

Cheers all

I am also interested in knowing what others have thought. Hopefully some of us will be finding out later this week/early next week.

Siri is pretty cool for things like reminders, notes and timer. Nice you can just put phone next to you your ear to activate Siri like you are on a phone call. Still when I'm in the car you still have to push home button to send texts so its not true handsfree.
As usual 3G kills battery life but it's still better than my old optimus one, especially when tethering. Awesome to find 12mbps in some spots in central Auckland but even at slower speeds web browsing feels smooth and quick.
I haven't had any audio issues so can't really say.
One good thing is camera is fast and sound is really clear after taking videos.

I think the main draw card for iPhone4 users is Siri and the Camera, I came from a 3gs so it's a pretty nice upgrade for me.  Siri location based reminders are nice, remind me to feed the cat when i get home, do this when i get to work etc.  I've used it a number of times to set alarms/timers, quick money conversions, and minor trivia questions, what is the population of Fiji, how many grams in x ounces.  Battery has been great for me, but as I say I came from a 2 1/2 year old 3gs so it could have just degraded over time.

I've used the iPhone 4, and really I wouldn't say that phone is lacking, if Siri and the Camera don't do it for you, stick to the iPhone 4.

Oh, and iPhone 4S supports mirroring over Airplay if that is something you're looking for.

Not a huge difference as far as I can see for everyday tasks.  Haven't used siri much as I feel a little silly talking to my phone (as opposed to into it!).  but I can see it'd be great in the car when someone sends a text, assuming it works out what I'm saying.  The handsfree audio is better and audio in noisy environments seems better (but this may be iOS5).

There are two reasons I switched - 1 my wife broke her phone and needed a new one and it would kill me to have an older phone than her and 2 I have an addiction to having the newest apple product, the fact I could have one before official release date was great, especially as I work with other addicts!
