Can anyone confirm whether it is possible to play TV on an iPad - sourced from a MySky decoder via an HDMI cable (or HDMI over Cat 6 using an HDMI extender) using an HDMI adapter into the iPad?   Hoping to be able to use an iPad as a small TV?
Thanks

I think there are apps to stream from another device such as a NAS or wireless equipped media player, but I doubt you can get AV out from MySky.

Have a look at the Splashtop iPad app - not exactly what you are looking for but will stream from your PC or Mac.

The hdmi port on the ipad is for outputting a signal to a tv, not for inputting from another device. That is all.
