Hi all, I have a JB Hi-Fi Gift card for sale. It's for $839.00 valid till June 2014. Will accept highest offer close to what it's worth as I'm not planning to buy anything soon.

Thanks for the generous offer. I might keep it until I find someone who wants to buy something from JB

I'll up it to $700 (do you have to use it all at once?)

No you don't have to use it at once. I am still not convinced about letting it go, I might decide to buy something. I will take $790, getting $39.00 off is still a good deal and you have got so much time to use it. I am sure many here will buy things from JB in the next 2 years

There's lots I'll want to buy in the next two years but $39 (i.e. under 5%) is not a good enough incentive for paying up front. I guess you forgot the time value of money?

Or rather you didn't, because you'd rather have the money for it now than spend it over the two years.
