Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

DarthKermit: Hi, did you manage to re-home your dog?

Yes, She went at the end of April. It's taken me all this time to get around to selling her crates because every time I looked at them I cried.
She has a wonderful home in Wellington with a guy that works as head dog person at a dog training/day care complex. She goes to work with him every day and plays with dozens of dogs. After spending the northern summer in Montreal I know I did the right thing - she would have hated it there. The trip across would have been traumatic too, assuming she survived it okay. But, doing the right thing and not falling apart because you miss your dog are two different stories :-(

We just took on a third dog which was a re-home.

The owners had health issues so decided that their 18 month old pedigree Fox Terrier - for which they had waited nearly 2 years on the breeder's list - needed a new home.

We have had two of the Foxys from that breeder and sadly both died. We had replaced the last one with a Springer Spaniel. 4 weeks later we get a call from the breeder saying "Do you want another dog? There's one of mine living just 10km from you that needs a new home and you are the best people I know for that, so I said I would call!"

So now we have 3...! The Missus says no more...

Meant to add - had to buy another crate, so shame I missed this one!
