I'm apparently getting a new Surface pro 2 because I sent mine back to Microsoft under warranty for a faulty headphone jack.

Specs:

Intel Core i5-4200U

8gb Ram

256 SSD

http://www.pcworld.com/article/2058685/surface-pro-2-review-this-is-the-windows-tablet-youre-looking-for.html

I'm going overseas and so unless I can borrow a laptop from friends or family I'll probably have to buy something to use whilst away.

Just throwing this out there to see what people would be prepared to pay.

Accessories (used):

Powercover keyboard (with internal battery)

Touch cover 2 keyboard (backlit)

2nd original charger

2nd microsoft stylus

Wacom CS-300U/K2-AX Bamboo Stylus

Microsoft Sculpt Bluetooth Mouse

Black + Red Incipio 10-11" soft case

Honestly despite this being 2 generations behind was always a great workhouse, powerful enough to handle anything I threw at it.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

The replacement is very likely to be the surface pro 2 revised version with the i5 4300U.

It is the same CPU as Surface Pro 3 : ).

Someone is selling a used one on TM for $750, but that's a bit steep for a used one I reckon.

They are still somewhat unique devices with full featured cpu in tablet format. The 8gb spec is relatively rare. Price has remained high.

Closing this thread, surface pro 3 received as a replacement in time before I go off for trip. Will list used SP2 items in the future.
