I'm looking for a cheap Airport Express to use as an airplay to TOS converter. Anybody out there got one they want to get rid of?

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Where are you? I have one - that I'm still using - but can give it a consideration. It's the 2nd gen.

Looks like there's a couple of ways of doing it - like this one, involving using a compact flash reader to put out 3.3v from a usb 5v power line, http://www.instructables.com/id/Converting-a-Broken-Airport-Express-PSU-with-an-US/
