For Sale, one used Dell R410 with the following:

2 x E5620 2.4Ghz CPUs (+ heatsinks)
8GB Ram (2 x 4GB sticks / 4GB per CPU)
Dell SAS 6/IR embedded SAS controller (SAS2 / 6G)
iDRAC 6 Express & Enterprise installed (remote + KVM)
2 x 149GB SAS drives (Cheetah 15k.7) in caddies
Single hotswap PSU installed (space for redundant supply)

No rails
No Bezel

Tested with trial copy of Windows Server 2012 R2 (still installed on the HDDs), works fine and idles at low power with low fan RPM.  Single PCIe Gen 2 x8 slot for expansion cards.

This is a 1u server so its not silent, but after initial boot it does calm down.  Great for running virtual machines, active directory server, firewall, load balancer etc.

Memory slots tested with 4 populated, but haven't done any more than that.

Looking for $300 ono

Prefer west Auckland pickup but would be willing to ship at buyers expense and can bring in to the Auckland CBD; previous shipping of a Dell R310 was around $90 to the south island.  Waiting on passtheparcel as if it fits their extra large size category then shipping would be between $30 and $40.

Any questions, ask away!

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

So, looks like delivery to North Island would be $20 plus the cost of packaging and to the South Island would be $30 plus packaging as long as I can find a box that is 50cm x 70cm x 17cm or thereabouts!  If you're interested, we can deal with shipping prior to agreeing final price and  acceptance.
