Make me an offer on this if you want it - is somewhat heavy, am based in Wellington.

HP Microserver N40L:

CPU: Dual Core AMD Turion II 1.4GHz.
Memory: 8GiB (2x 4GiB) of DDR3 ram.
SSD: 64GiB Intel SSD (used for boot).
Hard Drives: 1x 4TiB Seagate Drive (2014).
1x Seagate Barracuda 1TiB (2013).
1x WD Caviar Green 1TiB (2010).
1x Seagate 250GB (2012).
Network Interface: 2x Gigabit Ethernet (Realtek chipset IIRC).

The WD Caviar Green is showing early signs of failure (have been using this for non-essential storage), this alerted 2 years ago and is still going strong so may need to be replaced. The other drives are 100% error free. Have been using the Seagate 250GB drive for OS templates as this was a VM host.

Unit has been really well looked after by myself. All drives will be securely erased and the unit will come in a clean state ready for your OS of choice (have been using it with Debian however works with FreeNAS and Windows Server 2012R2 totally fine). Makes a really good NAS. Hardware supports RAID 0 and 1 if you're wanting to match the drives up. Was running around 8 VM's at any given point no problems. Have purposely snapped key inside front door lock to make it not required (can lock / unlock with a coin, knife or fingernail...)

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

It is more the fact I do my research before buying anything :) you know, you could potentially pick this up tonight for a weekend project?
