Hi all

My sister bought this EEE PC some years ago (3-4 i think) from JB when she was going traveling. It has had light usage since then. I have used it to play around with Linux once in a while, but its not really being used.

I cant remember the exact specs off the top of my head, but at best guess:

  • AMD Processor (it can drive 1080p)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 250GB HDD
  • 10.1in screen (i think the resolution is 720p)
  • It has a HDMI port so it can be connected to a TV
  • SD card slot with a couple of USBs as well (i think they are all USB2

Suggested use would be someone looking to run a small Linux based multimedia server or a weekend project. Should be able to run a plex (or Kodi?) server from it as well I reckon - I havent tried this.

The battery is still good for 3-5 hours depending on usage. Currently has Lubuntu on it. It came with Windows 7 when we bought it but I never kept the disks so has been formatted to Ubuntu since. I can endeavour to find Windows 7 Starter from my MSDN and put it on there if someone really wants Win7.

Cosmetically, no damages - never been dropped, no cracks, in full working order with power adapter as well. Will provide the carry case for it as well.

Pickup in Ellerslie or Auckland CBD.

Looking for $150 or near offer.

Final bump. Thinking of putting this up as a media server at my friends place if no takers.
